ONE TIME LESSONS

Wheel

One Time Wheel

You will learn the basics of wheel throwing to make a mug. Centering, pulling up walls and making a cylinder. The finished piece will be fired and glazed for you in a color of your choice. (This class is offered weekly for 2 hours).

Private Lessons

$65/hour. Practice centering, pulling up walls and making a cylinder. (Call studio to book)

​Hand Building

You will use one of the hand building techniques of pinch, coil, or slab, to make a one-of-a-kind pottery creation. Please call the studio to schedule.​​


 Hand Building All Abilities Young Adult
This is an ongoing weekly class. You will learn the hand building techniques of pinch, coil, & slab. 

Call studio to register.

Participants will create and glaze pieces in one or multiple sessions.

Teens Beginner Wheel
This is a 4-week series of classes. You will learn the basics of wheel throwing. Centering, pulling up walls and making a cylinder, trimming and basic glazing techniques. Maximum class size is 5.​ Ages 11+. Classes are 1.5 hours weekly.  Register here.

Kids Beginner Hand building

This is a 4-week series of classes. You will learn the 3 handbuilding methods of pinch, coil, and slab, to build 3 pieces. Glazing will be done during week 4. Maximum class size is 5.​ Ages 5+. Classes are 1.5 hours weekly.  Register here.

​Beginner/Intermediate Wheel/Handbuilding Adult
This is a 8-week series of classes. This is for beginners or potters who want continue to practice the basics of wheel throwing and foster independence in the studio. Independent projects will be encouraged, and projects, surface decoration, and glazing techniques will be taught as well.  Open studio time is included with this session. 25 lbs of clay is included with this class. New clay may be purchased if needed for $75 for a 25 lb. bag. A tool kit must be purchased. They are available in the studio for $10. Maximum class size is 5 for wheel class and 8 for handbuilding class. ​Buckets to reclaim your clay are available for use. Register here.

​Hand Building Workshops
These are one-time creative experiences and project based. Participants will make a project using the hand building techniques of pinch, coil, or slab. Glazing will be done for you after your pieces are fired. You will choose a color before the end of class. These workshops are 2 hours and will be offered monthly. You can also call to schedule a night out workshop with friends or family! Food and drinks are permitted!!

Open Studio

Open studio is available to registered students and membership potters who can navigate independently in a studio.

The 8 week Beginner/Intermediate students tuition includes open studio time.
