MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP POTTERS
TIER 1
This is for experienced independent potters or those who have taken a 4 week or longer course at the studio. This is recommended for potters who typically spend 4 or more hours per week in the studio. Payments are due on the first day of your next consecutive month. Includes studio time available 12 hours daily with independent access through a key box. Two cabinet shelves & one wall shelf are included for storing clay and work, tools. Clay can be purchased when needed from the studio or you may purchase your own approved clay.
We offer 4 different clay bodies in the studio. You may split between two different clays when purchasing a full 25 lbs. bag from the studio. Clay is $25/25lb bag. This tier comes with 24 firing tickets per month. They can be used for all bisque, all glaze, or you can split is up any way you like. Tickets do not carry over into the next membership month.
TIER 2
This is recommended for potters who typically spend 2-3 hours per week in the studio. It follows the same model as the Tier 1 except independent studio hours are capped at 12/month. This tier comes with 12 firing tickets.
1.5 Hour Hand Building
You will use one of the hand building techniques of pinch, coil, or slab, to make a one-of-a-kind pottery creation. Please call the studio to schedule.
One Time 1 Hour Wheel
You will learn the basics of wheel throwing to make a functional piece of pottery. Demonstration on how to make a cup or trinket dish.. You make and keep 1 piece. You will learn the basics of centering, opening to make a floor, and pulling up clay walls. The finished piece will be fired and glazed for you in a color of your choice.
Hand Building All Abilities Young Adult 18+
This is an ongoing weekly class. You will learn the hand building techniques of pinch, coil, & slab.

Participants will create pieces in one session and they will be glazed for you in a color of your choice.
They will be available in 3/4 weeks.
Teens Beginner Wheel
This is a 4-week series of classes. You will learn the basics of wheel throwing. Centering, pulling up walls and making a cylinder, trimming and basic glazing techniques. Maximum class size is 5. Ages 13+. Classes are 1.5 hours weekly. Register here.
This is a 4-week series of classes. You will learn the 3 handbuilding methods of pinch, coil, and slab, to build 3 pieces. Glazing will be done during week 4. Maximum class size is 5. Ages 5+. Classes are 1 hour weekly with the last class at 1.5 hours to glaze.
Beginner/Intermediate Wheel/Handbuilding Adult
This can be chosen as a 4 or 8 week series of classes. They are for beginners or potters who want to continue to practice the basics of wheel throwing and foster independence in the studio. Independent projects will be encouraged, and projects, surface decoration, and glazing techniques will be taught as well. One open studio day per week is included in the 8 week course for the duration of the course. The 4 week course includes one day of an open studio session. A tool kit must be purchased or you may bring your own for the 8 week sessions only. They are available in the studio for $10. The 8 week session includes one 25 lb bag of clay. Hand Building Workshops
These are one-time creative experiences and project based. Participants will make a project using the hand building techniques of pinch, coil, or slab. Glazing will be done for you after your pieces are fired. You will choose a color before the end of class. These workshops are 2 hours and by appointment. Schedule your night out with friends or family! Food and drinks are permitted!
Open Studio
Open studio is available to registered students and membership potters who can navigate independently in a studio.
The 4/8 week Beginner/Intermediate students tuition includes open studio time.
